South West Herts & Latymer
From September 2019 the SW Herts Schools Consortium changed their verbal reasoning test from CEM (Durham University) to GL Assessment. Their CEM test was introduced in 2015, to replace the the tests set by Moray House (University of Edinburgh).
The Maths paper continues to remain written by GL Assesment, however, from this year the SW Herts exam will be a multiple-choice format instead of standard format.
Latymer school will also continue to use the GL Assessment maths and verbal reasoning exam which they introduced in 2018.

What is included in each SW Herts Mock Exam?
No of Papers: Two full-length papers.
Subjects: The Maths Paper is 50 minutes long and contains 50 questions and the Verbal Reasoning Paper is 50 minutes long and contain 80 questions.
Format: Both papers will be in multiple-choice format
Feedback Report: This will provide you with your child's score, and identify both incorrect and skipped questions with additional feedback on those questions. You will also be given your child's ranking with the cohort that sat the same paper. Copies of the test papers are not released due to copyright, however, you will be able to see the questions that your child skipped or got wrong in the feedback report. The feedback report will be provided usually within 1 day by email.
